Jordi Baylina

Jordi Baylina has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Jordi is currently working as a Technical Lead at Polygon Hermez zkEVM since 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Tech Lead at iden3 starting from 2018. Jordi also holds the position of Founder at Giveth.io since 2016, where they lead the development of innovative smart contracts for the Giveth platform and the Ethereum Ecosystem. Jordi is also a Blockchain Teacher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya since 2018. In addition, Jordi has worked as a Solidity Smart Contract Auditor and Developer as a freelancer since 2016. Jordi has been involved in notable contract developments, including Liquid Democracy for TheDAO and MiniMe token contract.

In terms of their previous roles, Jordi held the position of Co-Founder at White Hat Group (WHG), formed in response to The DAO Hack, where they successfully secured and used the rescued funds to attack black hat hackers and return funds to DAO token holders. Jordi also worked as an Owner and CTO at masterASP from 2000 to 2016. Additionally, Jordi has experience as the Founder of UNICLAU S.L. since 2012 and as a Systems Engineer at CIRSA from 1999 to 2001.

Jordi Baylina obtained a degree in Communications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, spanning from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IESE Business School, which they completed between the years 2009 and 2011.
