Sherry Soon

Sherry Soon is a dedicated advocate for individuals with disabilities, recognized for founding Be Kind SG in 2017, a volunteer-led initiative focused on promoting inclusivity for persons with intellectual disabilities and autism. Under Sherry's leadership, Be Kind SG attained charity status in Singapore in March 2023. Additionally, Sherry serves as a Global Fellow with GivingTuesday's Starling Collective, connecting grassroots changemakers. With a longstanding commitment to supporting individuals with autoimmune diseases, Sherry also founded Autoimmune Diseases Singapore in 2013. Prior to these roles, Sherry held positions as a Senior Learning Specialist at SHINE Children and Youth Services, where curriculum development and mentorship were key responsibilities, and as an Educational Therapist at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore, focusing on dyslexia remediation through innovative teaching strategies. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from SIM Global Education and is an alumna of CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School.
