Liz Skalla has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Liz began as a Strategy Consultant at Skalla Consulting, LLC, where they provided brand and revenue building strategies for startups to fortune 500 in collaboration with various firms. Liz went on to become a Co-Founder, EVP, and Advisor at givn in 2015, and then a Brand Consultant and Sr. Brand Manager at Course Hero in 2017. In 2021, they became a Mentor at StartOut and in 2022, they became a Brand Strategy at The Clorox Company and Equity Collective Group at Founder Institute. Liz has also been a Mentor for Social Enterprise Alliance, Founders Space, and Impact Engine. In 2013, they founded PiecesofThere, which was later aquired by HealthyCollegeSnacks.
Liz Skalla obtained their Masters of Science in Marketing from Golden Gate University, Edward S. Ageno School of Business between 2007 and 2010. Liz also earned their B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College between 1999 and 2003.
