Stephen Anderson has an extensive work experience beginning in 1998 as an Application Developer for the University of Glamorgan. In 2000, they joined Advisor Technologies as a Senior Software Design Engineer and in 2002, they moved to Artaurus Software as a Senior Software Design Engineer. Stephen then joined Symbian in 2002 as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2003 as a Team/Technical Lead. In 2004, they joined Nokia as a R&D Specialist, Chief Architect, and Concepting Chief Architect. In 2009, they founded ruralcoder.com and in 2011, they joined GroundTruth as a Director of Engineering and VP of Engineering. In 2019, they founded Hookz and in 2022, they will become the Head Of Engineering for Givsly.

Stephen Anderson has an extensive education history. Stephen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete in 1995-1997, followed by a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering from the same institute from 1997-1995. In 1997, they also obtained a Leonardo Da Vinci, Computer Science in Genetic Algorithms from the University of South Wales. Stephen then obtained a BSc in Computer Studies from the University of South Wales from 1998-2001.
