Sjoerd van Oort has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Sjoerd is the founder and CEO of Givt, a company that focuses on cashless giving and aims to make a difference in the donation world. Prior to founding Givt, they were the founder of startup Pégao, an app that helps people save money on toll in France. Sjoerd was also a co-founder of Mufort BV, which is likely associated with Pégao. Before entering the startup world, Sjoerd worked as a teacher of religion, social studies, philosophy, and Greek at various levels of Dutch secondary education. Additionally, they have experience in project management, particularly in setting up new sales departments and reorganizing other departments. Sjoerd was also involved in product ownership and training at CFP Group.

Sjoerd van Oort pursued their education in the field of philosophy and theology.
