Annette Mummert

Annette Mummert is currently the Director of the Division Governance and Conflict at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Previously, they served as the Head of Section Regional Projects in Africa and held various roles including Senior Expert Accountability and Head of the Good Financial Governance Programme in Tanzania. Annette was also a Managing Member at Mummert und Partner Entwicklungsberatung, providing consulting in development cooperation from 2004 to 2014, and worked as a Scientific Assistant at Industrie- und Handelskammer Nürnberg from 2000 to 2004. They earned a doctoral degree in Economics from the Max Planck Institute for Economics and also hold a Diplom-Volkswirt from Philipps-Universität Marburg.
