Jan Amos

Jan Amos is currently the Head of the Liaison Office to BMWK, BMF, BMAS, BMBF, BMDV, BMFSFJ, and BMG at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In previous roles at GIZ, Jan served as a Senior Project Manager, Desk Officer for Yemen/Iraq, Adviser on Vocational Training and Employment, and held various senior advisory positions focused on economic and social development. Jan also worked as an Adviser to the Middle East Department at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Jan holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Geography, as well as minors in Middle Eastern Studies and Communication from the University of Hamburg.
