Muhammad Ubaid has over 15 years of experience in project management and sustainable development, currently serving as the Head of Project at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since October 2016, focusing on promoting employment by strengthening the role of women. Ubaid has held multiple leadership roles within GIZ, including Head of Departments for Sustainable Business Development and Fostering Employment & Employability, as well as Component Leader for Private Sector Development. Previously, Ubaid worked at the National Productivity Organization from November 2006 to September 2016, leading the Green Productivity Cell for the Sindh Region and serving as Assistant Manager in the Energy Efficiency Department. Ubaid’s career began at M.N. Textile Mill in Karachi as Assistant Manager of Quality Control. Ubaid holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hamdard University.
