Patrick Pawletko is an experienced professional in rural electrification and energy access, currently serving as Team Leader and Advisor for Energising Development (EnDev) at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since August 2016. With a focus on innovative approaches to electrification, Patrick also acts as Sector Network Spokesperson for TUEWAS, connecting over 50 projects across 16 countries. In addition, Patrick has contributed to the RELEC project, supporting electrification initiatives in Myanmar, and has held previous roles with various organizations including Green Empowerment, Hydro Empowerment Network, and Purdue University, where Patrick focused on micro-hydropower solutions and community energy access. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
