Victoria Oettershagen

Victoria Oettershagen is an experienced professional currently serving as an M&E and Communications Specialist at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since November 2023. Prior to this role, Victoria held various positions within GIZ, including Advisor and Junior Advisor for Portfolio Management from February 2019 to July 2023, and participated as a Vocational Training Intern and Anti-Corruption and Integrity Intern in 2018. Victoria's early contributions include positions as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and research internships at Orient-Institut Beirut and the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law. Victoria's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Leiden University, with studies also undertaken at Université de Sousse.
