Chris Anderson, CISSP, ITIL

Chris Anderson, CISSP, ITIL has over 15 years of experience in the IT field. Chris began their career in 2006 as a Computer Repair/Technology Consultant at Anderson Computer Service, where they created a website to drive traffic and create sales. In 2008, they joined Infoscitex Corporation as an Assistant Network Administrator/Senior Help Desk, where they wrote Visual Basic programs and batch scripts to speed up administration. In 2012, they moved to InfraNet Solutions as a Network/Security Engineer, where they wrote PowerShell Scripting and managed Windows Infrastructure. From 2017-2019, they were a Security/Systems Engineer at Middlesex School, where they managed vulnerabilities on the servers using Tenable Nessus, built out and managed an ITIL based Service desk using Jira service desk, and maintained Gsuites and Microsoft 365 for Education. In 2019, they took on a freelance role at HawkEye Sec. Most recently, in 2021, Chris joined GizmoFish, LLC as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they provide leadership in planning and managing solution development and production and maintenance support, and manages strategic relationships with key IT product and services providers.

Chris Anderson, CISSP, ITIL has an extensive educational background. In 2021, they began pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Prior to this, Chris obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Middlesex Community College in 2012. Chris also attended Career Education Institute in 2006-2007 for Network and System Administration/Administrator. Additionally, Chris has obtained numerous certifications, including AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, Veeam Sales Professional 2020 and Veeam Technical Sales Professional from Veeam Software in 2020, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2019, MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services and MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security from Microsoft in 2019, Nessus Certificate of Proficiency from Tenable in 2019, ITIL - Intermediate Service Transition from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, Carbonite Availability & Migration Sales Professional, Carbonite Backup & Recovery Sales Professional and Carbonite Backup & Recovery Technical Specialist from Carbonite in 2018, ITIL Intermediate Service Operations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, ITIL Foundation from ITIL Certified in 2017, Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in 2016, MCTS - Active Directory 2008 from Microsoft in 2012, Microsoft Certfied Professional - Windows XP from Microsoft in 2009, Network+ Certification from CompTIA in 2008, A+ Certification from CompTIA in 2006, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)\u00b2 in 2021.
