Per-Cato G. Trønnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Per-Cato G. started their career at HM The King's Guard, Norway, where they served as a Private from July 2003 to April 2004. Following this, they worked at KPMG Norway as a Senior Associate Audit from August 2010 to July 2013. Per-Cato G. then moved on to Gjensidige, where they held multiple roles. From July 2013 to August 2022, they served as a Credit- and ESG Analyst, responsible for credit analysis, credit policies, and sustainability strategies. Additionally, from August 2022 onwards, they assumed the role of COO Group Investments/PM Alternatives/Head of Sustainable Investments. Per-Cato G. is also a current Board Member at Funkisgården borettslag / Funkisgården Private Housing Coop, starting from March 2021.

Per-Cato G. Trønnes has a diverse education history. Per-Cato G. started by completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2007. Per-Cato G. then pursued a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration at the same institution from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, they participated in an exchange program at the National Chengchi University, studying International Master of Business Administration (IMBA). The following year, in 2009, Per-Cato G. Trønnes attended the National Taiwan Normal University to study Chinese Mandarin language. In 2015, they obtained a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) or Autorisert Finansanalytiker (AFA) qualification from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Lastly, in 2021, they pursued an Executive MBA degree with a specialization in Finance, General at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) which they completed in 2022.
