Ismail Suicmez

Ismail Suicmez currently serves as the Managing Director of Supply Chain and Purchasing at GKN Powder Metallurgy since July 2017, overseeing the GKN Sinter Istanbul plant with approximately 300 employees and an annual turnover exceeding 25 million GBP. The role includes leadership of the supply chain team and management of production planning for automotive OEMs and TIER1s such as Volkswagen, Renault, Schaeffler, and BorgWarner. Prior to this, Ismail Suicmez held positions as Production & Supply Chain Manager and Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager at GKN, contributing to effective production methods and supplier management. Ismail Suicmez's earlier experience includes working as a Production and Planning Engineer at Tozmetal from July 2011 to July 2017. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trakya University and completion of secondary education at Bahçelievler Anadolu Lisesi.
