Chris Hawkins

Chris Hawkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aerospace and supply chain management, currently serving as the Global Commodity Director at GKN Aerospace since January 2009. Responsibilities include overseeing the quality, delivery, cost, and risk of various commodities, including composite materials and metallic raw materials. Previous roles at GKN Aerospace include Commercial Director, Head of Commercial for the Filton and Western Approach centres, and leading various procurement operations and project teams. In addition, Chris is a part-time Board Member for the West of England Aerospace Forum and has prior experience as a Project Leader at Airbus. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Information Systems & Project Management from Cardiff University, along with multiple certifications in project management and procurement.
