Kostas Soumilas

Kostas Soumilas has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, primarily with GKN Aerospace since April 2000, where roles have included Senior Vice President of Engineering & Technology for Civil Airframes, Vice President of Engineering, Technology & Quality, and various chief engineering positions for major aerostructure projects. Prior to GKN Aerospace, Kostas served at Airbus from December 1996 to March 2000, contributing as Engineering Lead for the A380 and as a Structural Analyst. Earlier experience includes a design engineering role at Ogle Design and an aircraft engineering position with the Hellenic Air Force. Kostas holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, an MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from UNSW.
