Mike Watson

Mike Watson is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer-CAM at GKN Aerospace, with a career that began in September 2011. Responsibilities include developing probing projects for on-machine inspection and machine consistency tests, programming components using CATIA V5, and troubleshooting machine issues. Previously, Mike held roles as CNC Machinist and Metrology Technician on secondment, as well as Additive Manufacturing Technician. From November 2016 to December 2021, Mike served as CNC Milling Training Manager for WorldSkills UK, focusing on training youth in vocational skills and managing competition processes. Earlier, Mike represented the UK as a competitor in CNC Milling from July 2012 to August 2015, excelling in high-pressure environments. Education was completed at City of Bristol College.
