Rebecca Desert

Rebecca Desert is a finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and financial roles. Currently serving as Finance Director at GKN Aerospace, a position held since July 2024, Rebecca previously worked as Group Financial Accountant at Melrose Plc from August 2018 to July 2024. Prior to that, Rebecca was an Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, and Audit Associate at KPMG UK from October 2012 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as Team Leader at Edgbaston Cricket Ground from October 2009 to June 2012, where responsibilities included managing restaurant operations and customer service. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law with Business Studies from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2012.
