Shahzad Ghafoor Ceng Mraes

Shahzad Ghafoor CEng MRAeS is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Deputy Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence since January 2020. With a background in aerospace engineering, Shahzad has worked at GKN Aerospace as a ME project Engineer, focusing on the industrialisation of the A350XWB-1000 variant since January 2009. Prior experience includes a position as a New Product Introduction Engineer at Airbus Group from October 2005 to December 2008. Shahzad holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management from Preston University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
