Loyiso Sipunzi

Loyiso Sipunzi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Loyiso started their career as a Junior Business Analyst at Engen, where they worked on retail projects and assisted in critical evaluation and translation of requirements. Later, Loyiso worked as a Business Analyst Consultant at Analyze Consulting, where they were responsible for systems and process design and implementation. Loyiso then joined Allan Gray Proprietary Limited and held several roles, including Senior Business Analyst and Business Product Owner, focusing on client experience and IT. Currently, Loyiso is working at Glacier by Sanlam as the Head of Business and Systems Analysis, leading initiatives such as digital transformation, enterprise agility, and user experience design. Loyiso also served as the Acting Head of Architecture for six months at Glacier.

Loyiso Sipunzi completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Nelson Mandela University between 2007 and 2010. In 2011, they pursued a BCom (Honours) degree in Information Systems at the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, they obtained certifications including "Lead for Performance and Growth" from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2023, "Advanced Leadership in Design Thinking" from Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town in 2021, "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" from agile42 in 2018, and a Diploma in Business Analysis from Faculty Training Institute in 2014.
