Jay Erickson

Medical Provider, Family Medicine at Glacier Medical Associates

Dr. Jay Erickson is a native of Minnesota. He graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Erickson completed a Family Medicine Residency in Spokane, Washington in 1990 and then moved to Whitefish to start practice with Glacier Medical Associates.

Dr. Erickson is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has a CAQ in Sports Medicine. In 2004, Dr. Erickson took a job with the University of Washington School of Medicine as the Assistant Dean for Regional Affairs and Assistant Clinical Dean for Montana. In this role he oversees the clinical teaching involving WWAMI medical students in Montana in over 45 required clerkships in 20 communities involving over 500 clinical faculty. Dr. Erickson is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UWSOM. Dr. Erickson still maintains a part-time practice at GMA.

Dr. Erickson lives north of Polebridge in the North Fork. He loves to trail run, ski, read and work on woodworking projects.
