Dr. John Kalbfleisch was born and raised in Shelby, Montana. He did his undergraduate training at Carroll College in Helena, Montana and then went to medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Spokane, WA in 1992 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is the Whitefish High School sports medicine program Medical Director. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and former president of the Montana Academy of Family Physicians. He served 9 years on the North Valley Hospital board and is a former chief of staff. He is a Shepherd’s Hand Free Clinic volunteer and on the side coaches baseball and basketball.
