Mark Kuba is a Staff Software Engineer at Gladly. Prior to joining Gladly, they were a Software & Data Consultant at SokoBit LLC from January 2014 to December 2018. There, they built an electronic health record MVP using Node & React, which was subsequently greenlit for test deploy at a hospital chain. Before joining SokoBit LLC, Mark was with Point Lobos Capital from January 2010 to December 2013, where they served as a Developer / Execution Trader. There, they wrote systems to generate critical reports and flag investment ideas using Python & Bloomberg API, expanding coverage scope of the investment team. Mark was also responsible for overall software development, IT management, and 95% of execution trading for $300 mln global equity long/short hedge fund. In recognition of their contributions to the firm, Mark was named a partner at Point Lobos Capital.
From January 2005 to December 2009, Mark worked as a Developer / Quantitative Trader at Envision Asset Mgmt / Suzaku Capital Mgmt.
Mark began their professional career as a Program Manager Intern at Microsoft Corporation from January 2004 to December 2004. Mark then served as a Technology Intern at Lehman Brothers Japan from January 2003 to December 2003.
