Matt Baker is the current Director of Software Engineering at Gladly. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Lookout from October 2012 to March 2015. While at Lookout, Baker designed and implemented photo backup for the company's premium product, built their newest feature, Theft Alerts, and created an SDK for interacting withLookout's RESTful backend services. Matt also maintained the CI build infrastructure for the entire iOS development pipeline.
From January 2011 to September 2012, Baker worked as an iPhone Dev Intern at Cruise Wise. There, they analyzed current cruising iPhone applications, developed wireframes, and built and maintained the entire iPhone application. Matt also conducted user testing both in the field and in the office.
Baker was also an Intern at SV Angel from January 2011 to May 2012 and an Installation Intern at One Workplace from June 2010 to September 2010.
In addition to their professional experience, Baker is also a Co-Founder of Battery Gray and was the Head Sailing Instructor at South Haven Yacht Club from June 2009 to August 2009.
Matt Baker has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and attended East Grand Rapids High School.
