Steph Black

Steph Black serves as the Head of Talent & Engagement at Gladly since October 2024 and is the Founder and People & Talent Advisor at Talent Triage. Previously, Steph held the position of Senior Director of Recruiting & Culture at Route from July 2019 to July 2023, focusing on coaching and applicant tracking systems. As Head of Talent and Culture, a similar role at Route, extensive expertise in coaching and recruitment was developed. Prior experience includes building a comprehensive people and talent strategy as Head of People and Talent at Merlin from April 2018 to July 2019, achieving over 200 hires in one year, and establishing a successful hiring program as Head of Talent Acquisition at Auric Solar, resulting in 250 hires across five states in 2.5 years. Earlier career experience includes providing coaching and executive leadership as a Renewable Energy Consultant. Education was completed at the University of Utah.
