Shane Snyder, Ph.D.

Shane Snyder, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and education. Shane has worked as an Information Technology Technician at Glamorise since 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Strayer University in 2017, and as an Adjunct Faculty at Rasmussen College in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Lead Faculty of Master of Computer Information Technology Program at Northern Arizona University.

From 2011 to 2015, Shane worked at Zenith Education Group as an Online Instructor / Program Lead, where they focused on computer information science and networking, curriculum analysis and development, and the importance of passing certification exams.

Shane also worked as an IT Data Interface Analyst at Jersey Shore Hospital from 2014 to 2015, where they managed HL7 interfaces and created custom reports using Meditech health information management system.

Shane's work experience also includes serving as an Online Adjunct Instructor at Apollo Group from 2007 to 2014, a Survey Research Staff at Penn State University from 2011 to 2012, a Faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Technology from 2002 to 2011, and as an Independent Contractor -- Instructor at Peak Solutions in 2011.

Shane Snyder, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Walden University, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to their doctoral degree, they completed a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State Harrisburg in 1999. In 1996, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Science and Management from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Currently, Shane is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Jack Welch Management Institute, with an expected completion date in the future.

In addition to their formal education, Shane Snyder has obtained a number of certifications. In 2016, they acquired the CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician certification from CompTIA, and in the same year, they obtained the CompTIA A+ ce certification. More recently, in 2022, Shane obtained certifications in various areas, including Elearning Essentials: Instructional Design, Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID, Learning Adobe Capture, and Quick Start Guide to SQL from LinkedIn.
