Samantha Barry is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and social media management. Currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Glamour since January 2018, Barry has successfully transformed the magazine's Women of the Year Awards and achieved record-breaking audience figures. Prior to this role, Barry was the Global Head of Social and Emerging Media at CNN, overseeing the company's global social media teams. Barry also held various positions at BBC News, including Social Media Producer and Consultant Media Trainer, and has worked as a Media and Research Consultant at InterMedia. Additionally, Barry has a background in youth programming and online media from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and has reported on significant international stories as a Foreign Correspondent for Newstalk 106-108. Barry holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Dublin City University and a Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from University College Cork.
