Nicola Fitzgerald

Nicola Fitzgerald is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in VAT management and compliance. Currently serving as Group VAT Manager at Glanbia since September 2014, previous roles include Interim Group VAT Manager and VAT Compliance Lead. Prior to Glanbia, Nicola held the position of International VAT Accountant at I, where responsibilities involved preparing VAT tax returns for European Affiliates. Additional experience includes working in indirect tax at BDO, focusing on VAT registrations and compliance across Ireland, the UK, and the EU. Nicola began a career in taxation at Fitzgerald Fleming, managing personal and corporation tax returns for numerous clients, and as a Tax Trainee at Ernst & Young. Academically, Nicola holds a CTA from the Irish Taxation Institute, a Bachelor's degree in Financial Services from Waterford Institute of Technology, and is currently enrolled in the Network Mentor Program at the Irish Management Institute, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
