Edward Chianese

Edward Chianese has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Technical Lead at Intuit where they gathered requirements and selected an Active Server Page based bulletin board package. Edward then moved to Eclipsys where they were the Lead Developer in a 4 person engineering team building a medical content repository. In 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Airpath Wireless and was a member of a small team that added features to the network provider control center and end user signup application. Edward then moved to Cisco Webex in 2006, where they were the Principal Software Engineer and Development Lead working on a web based collaboration application built with Java and Ajax using the Dojo toolkit. In 2009, they worked as a Contract Software Engineer at BBN Technologies. From 2010-2013, they worked at Quantia Communications as a Software Engineer, where they were the primary developer for the iPhone (iOS) implementation of a suite of apps that let users keep track of health metrics. Edward then worked at American Well from 2014-2019 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they added functionality and built unit tests for American Well's Consumer Mobile SDK and built significant portions of the AMWell branded consumer iOS app. Currently, they are the Mobile Development Team Lead at Glance Networks.

Edward Chianese received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
