Michael McCarthy

Michael McCarthy is an accomplished professional in the fields of reporting, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning platforms, currently serving as VP at Glance since June 2019, where work focuses on bringing machine learning to production. Previously, Michael held positions at InMobi from January 2013 to June 2019 as Director of Data Sciences and Senior Research Scientist. Prior to that, Michael was the CTO at Overlay Media Ltd from November 2007 to December 2012, contributing to the optimization of user experiences on mobile platforms. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Mobile & Wearable Computing from the University of Bristol, along with a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta. Earlier research experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the University of Bristol, focusing on mobile computing and context-awareness.
