Glasgow Kelvin College
Linda is a qualified accountant who has served on the senior executive teams of a number of public sector organizations. She was appointed as a member of Glasgow Kelvin College Arm’s Length Foundation in 2020. She was born and brought up in the East End of Glasgow and has had a number of roles in the education and skills area over her career, has a particular interest in the work of the College.
Linda retired from the role of Director of Finance and Strategic Planning and was a member of the Senior Executive Team with the Scottish Qualifications Authority at the beginning of 2020.
She was recently re-elected as a member nominated trustee with the Scottish Enterprise Pension and Life Assurance Scheme. She has served on the Trustee Board for many years as both an employer nominated and member nominated trustee and is a long-serving member of the Investment Committee.
Following her retirement, Linda became a director and board member of Clackmannanshire Economic Regeneration Trust which seeks to secure funding to invest in employment and wealth generation activities in the Clackmannanshire area.

Glasgow Kelvin College
Glasgow Kelvin College is the newest of Glasgow’s three regional further education colleges. Formed by the merger of John Wheatley, North Glasgow and Stow colleges in November 2013, Glasgow Kelvin has all the expertise, facilities and resources to ensure that students receive a high quality learning experience that will provide them with the skills and knowledge to enable them to compete in today’s challenging jobs market, or to move on to further, more advanced learning.
