Kirsty McVie has extensive experience in project management and event coordination, currently serving as an Event Officer for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Glasgow since February 2024. With a history at Glasgow Life since January 2013, Kirsty has held multiple roles including Project Manager and Assistant Manager. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Event Manager for the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, providing venue management support for Glasgow 2018, and working as Communications Logistics for Glasgow Warriors. Additionally, Kirsty contributed as Venue Contact Centre Supervisor for Glasgow 2014 Limited and has retail experience as a Supervisor at New Look. Kirsty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Industries Practice from the University of the West of Scotland, completed in 2010.
