Kirk Weatherton has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Kirk started their career as a Greenhouse Manager at Cal Poly Pomona in 2008 and held this role until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Grower and Greenhouse Strawberries and Tomatoes at Windset Farms. In 2016, they worked briefly as a Grower at Blue Planet Farms. Kirk then joined Armstrong Growers in 2017 as a Section Grower and worked there until 2018. Currently, Kirk is employed at Glass House Farms, where they started in 2018 as an IPM Manager. Kirk then advanced to a Grower role before ultimately becoming the Head Grower.
Kirk Weatherton pursued their education from 2006 to 2012, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences. Kirk attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona during this period.
