Daniel Black has over 8 years of experience in the retail and technology industries. In 2013, they were a Guest Blogger and Student Mentor for Course-Notes.org. In 2014, they founded Glass-Media, Inc., where they served as Chief Executive Officer. In 2016, they became an Alumni Interviewer for Claremont McKenna College. In 2017, they were a Mentor for REVTECH Accelerator, a venture accelerator seed fund dedicated to identifying and developing the best early-stage, high-growth ventures focused on tech and product innovation for restaurant, retail, and hospitality. In 2018, they became a Founding Member of Forbes Dallas Business Council. In 2019, they joined Auburn University as an Apparel Advisory Board Member and became a Mentor for WeWork Labs. In 2020, they became an Advisor for Crave Retail and in 2021, they became a Strategic Advisor for Brakes To You and an Advisory Board Member for Retail TouchPoints.

Daniel Black attended Gunn High School from 2003 to 2007 and then went on to Claremont McKenna College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a BA in Economics, Government, and Leadership Studies Sequence.
