Grant Chapman has a diverse work experience in various industries. Grant started their career as an Engineer and Administrator at EPICS Electric Vehicle Event Infrastructure, where they were responsible for research, design, and administration of kart-styled vehicles. Grant then interned at Delphi as a Systems Engineer, working on an energy storage system for hybrid automotive use.

Grant then joined Indy Power Systems as a Mechanical Engineer and Shareholder, contributing to the design and validation of energy management systems. Grant later co-founded and served as Treasurer of the Purdue Electric Vehicle Club, organizing events and winning multiple championships.

Grant's experience in the electric vehicle industry continued with their role as CEO at EVC Racing, where they provided strategic direction and offered consulting services. Grant also worked as a Systems Engineer at Spir Bikes, specializing in high-performance electric bikes for the law enforcement community.

Grant's leadership abilities led him to become the CEO of PolyCeramX, a battery materials firm focused on developing solid-state battery separator materials.

Their most recent position was as the Chief Executive Officer of Glassboard, a company they co-founded. Glassboard provided services such as product development, connecting clients with attorneys and investors, and taking products to market.

Throughout their career, Grant has demonstrated expertise in mechanical design, battery technology, electric drivetrain design, and project management.

Grant Chapman attended Zionsville Community High School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Academic Honors + Core 40 Degree. After completing high school, they enrolled at Purdue University from 2009 to 2014. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering.
