Karen Power

Karen Power has extensive work experience in finance and tax. Karen is currently the VP of Finance at Modern Niagara, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at GlassHouse Botanics Inc. from 2019. From 2015 to 2018, they held the position of VP Corporate Tax & Finance at Modern Niagara Group Inc. Karen also has a long history with Deloitte, where they worked for over two decades. Their roles at Deloitte included Tax Partner, Partner, and Senior. In their role as Tax Partner at Deloitte, they led the Ottawa Private Client Services practice and focused on corporate reorganization and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder planning.

Karen Power attended Carleton University from 1989 to 1992, where they completed a degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting. Prior to that, they had also attended St Pius X, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
