Betty Norman has over 40 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Betty began their career in 1986 as a Risk Management Consultant at PHICO Insurance Group. During their time there, they served in this role for 15 years, until 2001. In 2006, Betty joined Glatfelter Insurance Group as the Director of Risk Control Services GHP, a position they currently hold.
Betty Norman pursued their education starting in 1973 at Catonsville Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Nursing, which they completed in 1977. Betty then continued their studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from 1978 to 1980. Following their undergraduate studies, Betty went on to pursue a Masters degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Baltimore from 1982 to 1985.
