Michelle Gartner

Michelle Gartner has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business intelligence, data analysis, and programming. Michelle started their career in 1999 as a Co-op Programmer at Gnostech Inc, where they gained experience in programming using Visual Basic and creating program user manuals. Michelle then worked as a Co-op Programmer at Educators Mutual Life, where they focused on database manipulation, data transformations, and creating tutorials for Microsoft Word, Excel, and VisualAge for Java.

Michelle's next role was as a Programmer Analyst at Educators Mutual Life, where they continued to work with databases, tables, views, and DTS packages using SQL Server. Michelle also did HTML and ASP programming for a customer inquiry website and Visual Basic programming for the SMART Renewal System.

Michelle then joined Johnson Controls - York International as a Senior Programmer Analyst, where they customized the Siebel 7.7 Sales Application using Siebel Tools. Michelle also worked with Oracle and AS-400 backend databases for report data and data COMs.

Michelle then moved to Dentsply International as an Applications System Analyst, where they focused on customizing the Siebel 7.8 Pharma Application using Siebel Tools and performed Siebel system administrative functions.

In their most recent role at Glatfelter Insurance Group, Michelle served as a Lead Business Intelligence Developer. Michelle was responsible for business intelligence and data warehouse project management, in-depth data analysis and requirement/spec development, data warehouse development using SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio, ETL development for bringing data from other source systems, and report development and enhancements to improve business processes. Michelle also worked on SQL Server 2014 stored procedure, view, and query development.
