Rick Gurba

Rick Gurba is an experienced professional in education and training within the EMS and fire service sectors, currently serving as the Director of VFIS Education & Training at Glatfelter Insurance Group since January 2019. As an Education Specialist, Rick provides risk-related training programs to fire and EMS organizations. Additionally, Rick operates as President of Digital Planet, Inc. since June 2010, where advisory services focus on business formation, privacy policies, and strategic consulting. Previous roles include National Sales & Marketing Director at Med Media and Director of EMS Training at HACC. Rick began their career as a Senior Paramedic at WellSpan Health between 1990 and 1998. Rick holds a BS in Emergency Health Services Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Paramedic certificate from HACC.
