Scott Harkins has a diverse work experience in the risk management and insurance industry. Scott started their career at Aetna Life & Casualty in 1981 as an Engineering Manager, where they worked until 1994. Scott then joined Reliance National as an Assistant Vice President, where they stayed until the year 2000.
In 2000, Harkins founded their own risk management and safety consulting firm called Harkins Consulting Group, Inc. As the President of the company, they were responsible for all aspects of running the business and providing consulting services to senior managers on various issues related to risk and profitability.
In 2011, Harkins took on a leadership role at Glatfelter Insurance Group as the Senior Vice President of Risk Control Services. Scott continues to hold this position, utilizing their extensive expertise to provide strategic guidance and solutions to clients.
Throughout their career, Harkins has acquired several professional certifications, including CSP, CPCU, ARM, and CFPS.
Scott Harkins CSP, CPCU, ARM, CFPS graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1980 with a Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection & Safety Engineering. In February 2016, they obtained the ARM certification from The Institutes.
