Daniel Charron

Daniel Charron has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel is currently working at Glatfelter as the Director of Quality since June 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Fortress Specialty Cellulose Inc., including Technical and Innovation Director, Technical Director, Technical Product Manager, Director of Technical Services, and Technical Engineer. Daniel started their career at Fraser Paper as a Process Engineer before moving on to roles such as Technical Sales Director, Sales Representative, and Technical Manager to Sales. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as logistics, product and process improvement, environment, quality control, technical support, and sales. Daniel has been successful in developing and marketing value-added products, contributing positively to the company's financial performance.

Daniel Charron has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained between 1987 and 1992. Daniel later pursued a Master's degree in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology at The University of British Columbia from 1993 to 1994. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of Ottawa from 2010 to 2013.
