Mariz Hanna has a comprehensive work experience in various roles within the medical industry. Mariz started their career at Abbott Vascular in 2005 as a Production Assembler, where they built and assembled medical and surgical devices. Mariz then transitioned to the role of Quality Control Inspector on the manufacturing lines, performing extensive re-testing and ensuring compliance with specifications.

In 2007, Mariz joined the Reliability Engineering Lab at Abbott Vascular as a Quality Control Inspector, where they conducted dimensional, functional, and visual inspections on vascular products and devices. Mariz also assisted engineers in developing test methods to improve the testing process. Afterward, they took on the role of Quality Assurance Technician, investigating product failures, conducting internal lab audits, and executing equipment qualification protocols.

In 2014, Mariz started working at Glaukos Corporation as a Senior Quality Control Inspector, programming the Smart scope for automatic inspections and investigating measuring failures. Mariz later took on the role of Document Control Coordinator, followed by Quality Systems Specialist, and then Clinical Business Systems Analyst. Finally, they progressed to the position of Senior Clinical Business Systems Analyst.

Throughout their career, Mariz has demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

Mariz Hanna began their education journey in 2005 at Mt. San Jacinto College, where they pursued a general education program. Mariz attended this college until 2006, but did not obtain a degree during this time.

Following that, Mariz Hanna enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mariz Hanna obtained a certification as a QM-IAOCR Internationally Qualified TMF Manager from IAOCR in August 2021.
