Alastair Nixon

Alastair Nixon has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Submission Standards and Director of Publishing at GSK since May 2000. Prior to this, Alastair worked as a Projects Manager at Stowic Resources from August 1996 to August 2000, focusing on the development of transdermal patches using proprietary technology. Alastair also held the position of Regulatory Consultant at Quintiles from July 1999 to May 2000, where key contributions included the implementation of the CoreDossier® publishing system. Earlier in Alastair's career, from May 1990 to February 1995, a role as Project Leader for Dermatologicals at SmithKline Beecham involved work as a formulation scientist, specifically in the development of innovative topical formulations. Alastair holds a BSc(hons) in Applied Chemistry from Aston University, obtained in January 1988.
