Carmen Michaylira

Carmen Michaylira currently serves as Senior Director of Product Portfolio Strategy at GSK, a position held since May 2020, following roles as Director of Global Strategic Insights and Senior Manager of Global Insights and Analytics within the same organization. Prior to GSK, Carmen was with Adelphi Research from 2008 to 2020, eventually rising to Vice President and Senior Director, leading various quantitative and qualitative studies. Earlier experience includes positions at Adelphi Research by Design and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where research focused on the EGFR pathway and p53 mutations in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Carmen holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Physiology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University.
