Christopher Pettigrew

Christopher Pettigrew currently serves as Senior Director of Business Development within Global Corporate Development at GSK, focusing on M&A, licensing, and partnerships since April 2017. Prior to this, Christopher held roles including Corporate Strategy Director, working on key strategic initiatives for the Corporate Executive Team and the Board, and R&D Operations, Planning, and Strategy Manager, contributing to GSK's new R&D strategy. Previous experience includes Senior Associate at Novasecta Ltd, engaging in biopharma strategy consulting, and Co-Founder of Cytospan Technologies Corporation, which developed a unique phenotypic screening platform. Christopher began his career as a researcher at the University of Toronto, analyzing genome arrangements and their effects on aging and cancer. Academic credentials include an MSc in Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Oxford and a double major BSc (Hons) in Cell & Molecular Biology and Economics from the University of Toronto.
