David Gordon

David Gordon is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in both corporate and advisory roles. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Tax at GSK since October 2017, David oversees the company's global tax and trade compliance, while also spearheading wellbeing initiatives within the Global Finance team, particularly in mental health. Prior to this role, David was a Tax Director in the Private Equity Group at KPMG UK from August 2000 to August 2015, where leadership of cross-border teams focused on complex UK and international M&A transactions was a key responsibility. Additionally, David served as Vice President and Head of Tax for GSK Consumer Healthcare from September 2015 to September 2017, managing the tax affairs of the Consumer Healthcare joint venture. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Accounting with First Class Honours from the University of Strathclyde and has been a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation since 2003.
