Ian E D Smith is an experienced medicinal chemist currently leading medicine design at GSK and involved in the field of targeted protein degradation (PROTACs) since 2012. They have previously worked as a medicinal chemist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Hoffmann-La Roche before joining GSK in 2001. Smith also continues their education in Chemistry at The University of Sheffield.
