Luca Russo

Luca Russo is a Scientific Leader at GSK since February 2014, specializing as a Principal Investigator in Structural Properties and Modelling, focusing on molecular modeling of crystalline materials to enhance solid formulation development. In previous roles at GSK, Russo served as a Fellow and Crystallography Lead, applying crystallographic knowledge to address physical property challenges in late-stage development. Prior experience includes working as a Single-Crystal and Powder XRD Application Scientist at Rigaku, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both Newcastle University and the University of Jyväskylä. Luca Russo holds a PhD in Chemical Crystallography from Newcastle University and a 5-Year Italian Laurea in Inorganic Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
