Mark Athanason, Ph.D., is a molecular biologist with expertise in protein mass-spectrometry. They served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University from 2017 to 2018, followed by a Research Fellow position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2018 to 2020. Mark then worked as an Associate Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Merck from 2020 to 2021 and currently holds the position of Principal Scientist at GSK since 2024. Mark is also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of South Florida.
