Ryan Ballirano is an experienced scientist currently serving as an Associate Scientist in Polysaccharide Chemistry and Protein Biochemistry at GSK since February 2024, focusing on the development of nanoparticles for antigen delivery through polysaccharide chemistry. Previously, Ryan held the position of Associate Scientist II at mytide Therapeutics, managing the Gen 1 Bio-Fab system for solid phase synthesis and overseeing reagent management and system maintenance. Ryan also served as a Research Associate II at FogPharma, specializing in peptide syntheses and medical chemistry applications, and contributed significantly during a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant tenure at the University of Rochester.
