Sheila Walker

Sheila Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of companion diagnostics and precision medicine. Currently serving as Associate Director at GSK since October 2020, Sheila leads CDx strategy development for Immuno-Oncology programs and oncology cell and gene therapy. Previous roles include serving as Associate Director at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., where Sheila provided technical guidance on diagnostic assays for inflammatory bowel disease, and at Hologic, managing the development of diagnostic assays for prostate cancer. Sheila's career began at Hologic in various scientific roles, culminating in leadership positions focused on oncology diagnostics. Educational credentials include a Post Doctorate in Materials Science from Caltech and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from UC San Diego.
